Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actress who has appeared on television, stage and film. She is best known for portraying Janet Fraiser in the TV show Stargate SG-1. 1] She was the lead character of Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well as appearing in prominent roles like Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring, in Arrow and Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. Many TV shows have included her. Rothery began lessons in dancing when she was nine years young. In 1995, Rothery considered that this was the beginning of her professional career as an entertainer. It was when she was 13 years old when she started dancing lessons. At age 14, she appeared on stage in Bye Bye Birdie and at 14 years old, she performed in The Sound of Music at Marpole Community Theatre. In her younger years she danced on The Irish Rovers variety television show[2] and she appeared in the musical "The Sound of Music" at the age of 14.
