Rachel Keller

RachelRachel Keller is a fictional character from The Ring film series. The character was created by producer-writer Ehren Kruger and portrayed by Naomi Watts, serves as the main character in The Ring and The Ring Two which share a number of similarities to Reiko Asakawa from the earlier Japanese films.Introduced in the 2002 film, Rachel is an investigative journalist who has to find the best way to avoid the death penalty after viewing an unlucky video tape she discovered while investigating the murder of her niece. Rachel is required to dig into the background of Samara Morgan when her son develops mysterious illnesses. Ruth asks Rachel Keller as an investigative journalist to find out the truth behind Katie's death. She informs Rachel that she found her daughter's distorted corpse in the closet. She also informs Rachel that her official cause of death was a heart attack, regardless of Katie being healthy and healthy as a teenager. Katie's friends tell Rachel the tale of the legend of the cursed tape and Katie's best friend Becca being confined for witnessing Katie dying. Then, Rachel discovers that Aidan the son of her with Noah, watched the tape at the same time that Noah calls her, telling her that he believes her. Rachel goes through the tape in order in order to determine the whereabouts of the lighthouse. It was on Moesko Island. Anna Morgan who was cursed as a horse breeder, appeared on the tape. After investigating, Rachel discovers Anna had an adopted daughter, named Samara who had the ability to burn frightening images into the minds of people, animals and objects. Rachel must leave Anna's widower Richard after she starts asking questions regarding Samara.
